Flipping the Switch in Cache County

Auric Solar flipped the switch on the two largest solar arrays in Cache County, Utah. Sports Academy and Racquet Club’s 886-kilowatt solar array consists of 2,646 panels and 74 inverters that will offset 94 percent of the family health club’s energy costs and reduce over 700 tons of CO2, the equivalent of taking 85 cars off the road for an entire year.

The solar array at Conservice, the fastest growing utility billing company in the country, will offset 80 percent of its power with a new 699-kilowatt system and provide a CO2 reduction equivalent to 16,505 trees cleaning the air for one year. Both systems were installed by Auric Solar, Utah’s leading provider of solar energy.

This project was made possible through the partnership of Wasatch Property Management, the Cache Chamber of Commerce, Zions Bank, Rocky Mountain Power, North Logan City and the city of River Heights, Utah. With a special thanks to Cache Valley native Dell Loy Hansen.
